Monday's Daily Action: Tell Senator Gardner to vote no on the Cassidy-Graham Repeal Bill
It guts Medicaid, undermines pre-existing condition protections, and takes health care resources away from as many as 600,000 Coloradans. A vote is expected before Sept. 30th.
"At a closed-door luncheon last week Senator Cory Gardner of Colorado, who is in charge of fundraising for Senate Republicans, warned his colleagues that big donors were "furious" with their failed attempts at repeal, according to the New York Times. Gardner's words of caution apparently were enough to motivate them to make one final push with the Graham-Cassidy legislation. This, of course, as the polls show that less than a quarter of the public supports their disastrous bill. So there you have it, folks. Repealing the Affordable Care Act was never about health care or bettering the lives of the American people."--Robert Reich
