Tuesday's D3 Daily Action: Stand With Us In Solidarity

End Hate-Fueled Gun Violence and Intimidation

In Charlottesville, Virginia, a group of white supremacists marched through the city openly carrying military-style rifles. A loophole in the laws of most states allows people to openly carry guns in public without a permit, training, or so much as a background check.

Open carry is dangerous. Law enforcement opposes it. But white supremacists have long embraced it and, more recently, the NRA has pushed it.

The hate present at the Charlottesville rally paired with open carry is a combination that leads to fear, intimidation, and can potentially escalate to gun violence.

Sign the pledge below and stand with us in solidarity to end open carry and stop the culture of hate-fueled gun violence.
