Tuesday's D3 Daily Action: Tell the Feds to Stop Blocking Women's Legal Access to Choice
The Office of Refugee Resettlement was established to help integrate new immigrants into American society.
Under the current administration, it's become the latest partisan battleground over women's right to make their own choice.
News has broken that the Office's Trump-appointed Director, Scott Lloyd, has instituted a policy of forced pregnancies and directed the organization to deny abortion care to young women in it's custody.
The ACLU has already sued once to get one woman, a Jane Doe, access to abortion care. A judge ordered the government to allow her access to her rights, but now the Trump Administration is now appealing.
If you support a woman's right to choose, please consider signing the ACLU's petition to the Office of Refugee Resettlement.
Stay Strong America.
